Out of touch and completely (or wilfully) unaware. Maybe this dude should run for office.
Maybe buy a more tasteful model next time?
Een dure horloge kopen is zijn grootste recht. Hoe decadent het ook is, wij hebben hier geen zaken mee. Zelf is zijn horloge meer waard dan alles wat ik zelf bezit, maar het is niet omdat hij een horloge koopt van 350.000 dat anderen daarom 350.000 mislopen. De wereld is geen zero-sum game.
Die 350k is een klein deel van de winst na belastingen, die hij via loon of dividend (telkens dus dubbel belast) aan zichzelf heeft uitgekeerd vanuit zijn vennootschap(pen). Daarbij is er in heel het ondernemersproces ook veel btw, lonen, sociale bijdragen,… en noem maar op betaald.
Mmm, if you wear such a watch in public (instagram, newspaper etc). Don’t cry when some criminals come and take it from you.
In an ideal world you should be able to do and wear anything you want, we don’t live in that world.

Een hobby gelijk een ander
Honestly I hope those criminals are quickly found and hashly sentenced.
However, the fact that people like him are able to carry the equivalent of a house around his wrist, and then don’t see an issue coming forward in the media, is nauseating when you realize the business he’s in and the evolutions the last years which made it impossible for a lot of people to buy a house or apartment.
People are saying he worked for his money, but a lot of people with basic wages work hard and make maybe 0.1% of what he makes? I’m not a communist but the gap in wealth has become way too big to accept. And let’s not be naive and think there isn’t a way too close connection between bouwpromotoren and politicians where both parties are enriching themselves at the expense of taxpayers.
Is this an invitation for the next robbery?Not smart if you ask me.
Stel me meer de vraag bij de overvallers, wat doe je met zo’n dure horloge. Zou denken dat de mensen die zoiets kopen geld genoeg hebben om het echt te kopen ipv de kans te lopen dat het fake is. Dus wie koopt dat op de zwarte markt??
Zo’n horloge heeft toch een pak minder onderhoud dan een huis.
