I’m half filipino, born and raised in Canada. Would someone mind explaining the background of this to me?
Well there goes any desire to watch the 2016 movie then.
Funnily enough, the propaganda 1945 movie was attended by Baler veteran José Olivares and he spent the whole movie shouting “it wasn’t like that!” (he died in 1948)
At least there is El Ministerio del Tiempo.
I watched 1898: Our last men in the Philippines on Netflix. Man, I was so frustrated with the teniente Martin Cerezo played by Luis Tosar. I wanted to beat him to pieces!!
