It does seem to be discrimination to me. The solution to racism, sexism etc isn’t to create more discrimination.
How many more times are people going to try this? It’s illegal. Gender, race and sexuality are all protected characteritics, offering a promotion or discount based on a protected characteristic is illegal.
The only reason they ever get away with it is because the men who pay the increased price are too easily convinced that it’s fair and therefore don’t complain.
