They were still pushing CNG-based cars till a couple of years ago as “green” alternatives as well. If the fossil-fuel industry can hold on just a little longer by lying to the public, that’s what they’ll do.
Natural gas is a very clean fuel. Produces only CO2 and water where other fuels produce a lot if harmful particles.
CO2 and water is not harmful to the people and animals.
So, its clean but not green.
