  1. > After moving to Times Square, Burns said, “I lived in a hallway. I built like a little shelf in a hallway between two tiny bedrooms across the street from a parking lot above the Army-Navy on 42nd Street.”

    > “I got Blue’s Clues early, but every waiter I ever knew made more money than I did for the first many seasons of that show,” Burns added. “But I was really fortunate, because Blue’s Clues was my side hustle forever. My real gig was, I was a voiceover guy. I fell into that early.”

    > Doing voiceover work for commercials, he added, “kind of sustained me, but man, it was grim.”

    > “And one day I had an audition for what I thought was to be the voice of a cartoon on a children’s television show,” Burns said of his Blue’s Clues audition. “And if I had known that it was to be the guy on the show, on camera, I wouldn’t have gone. Not only because I was a pretentious young man at the time — that was part of it — but also because children’s television had never occurred to me.”

  2. I mean, that’s pretty good for a kid in high school…

  3. Tf u doin going to places with waiters when they make more money than you…

  4. You were an actor on a kids show. You barely had to work. Waiters have to deal with shit. You had to deal with a green screen

  5. Yeah I read that Blue was a huge son of a bitch and demanded that all the costars make far less than him

  6. As a kid who grew up watchin blues clues, I would donate some money to a fund to support this man. Reckon there’s a lot of millennials that would pitch in a bit.

  7. With a shaved head Steve kind of looks like that guy from Reno 911 who got arrested with the dildo stuck to his head.

  8. I hope he’s rich now. No one deserves it more. We love you, Steve.

  9. He’s probably making more with the royalties off of Mighty Little Man for Young Sheldon.

  10. But no one is reporting on speaking to me, a former waitress, on people.com
