It’s miniature of the month day at Warhammer so i’ll be picking up one of those. With that i’ll be getting in lots of steps then coming home to spend a lot of time in the garden.
I’m going to my first Parkrun this morning. A little nervous but I’m looking forward to it!
I’m not sure yet. Depending on energy and pain levels, I’ll try to either batch cook for the freezer (new kitchen is being installed soon), and/ or do some crafting. Just don’t want to feel so rough that I have to spend the day on the sofa, reading (if I’m lucky) or watching TV. I’m sure there will be some football watching at some point, though! And definitely hope to rest in the garden before the weather turns again.
Have a good weekend, everyone! ☀️
Going to be attempting to design my own kitchen.
I have a really odd layout/shape and every single ‘designer’ that has visited (4 so far) has basically drawn the same damn thing despite requests to change placement of the sink, cooker etc and retain curved corners
Going out for breakfast at a local farm shop that we’ve been meaning to try for a long time, then hanging up some pictures at home. Currently got a purring cat on my lap so that’s a good start to the day. Have a good day, all.
Parkrun of course – what else do you do on Saturday morning?
Going to a vintage fair, steam traction engines, stationary engines, cider, tractors, lots of people stood about going “she’ll do that all day”.
Also hoping to pick up lots of pre war spanners 👍🏻
Two wild swims, one under a tiny waterfall and lunch in a pub! Can’t wait!
I’m going to mow the lawn for the first time.
My husband used to do it but no longer wants to do it, so I’m going to try!
Today my new mattress arrives, a British-made 1000 pocket spring with no memory foam, so I’m going to have to strip the bed and move the old mattress into the spare room (in case this new one is rubbish).
Having some Japanese knotweed seeds delivered later, should make a nice addition to the garden
Kids had a friend sleep over last night (both our family and hers are really close so we see a lot of each other) so I’ll get up and dressed in a minute and make pancakes for them all. Then taking car to Halfords, brake light has gone so I need them to sort it out for me. Might wander a couple of shops in the area while I’m there.
Then this afternoon we are going to the in-laws for a BBQ. I was somewhat on board with this idea until told, once we had agreed to it all, that their neighbour will be there too, who I really would prefer not to spend any time with.
Before the weather turns we’re having a family walk by the river and enjoying some outside sun!
Cup of tea and try and finish the cardigan I’m knitting for my friend’s baby. Garden centre and a walk this afternoon, and my husband has promised to do a BBQ so we’re going to get some bits from the farm shop.
All-day bender for me. 1pm start. I’m scared.
We are going to go to our local market to pick up some food and have some breakfast. Then we plan to take the dogs on a nice long walk, finishing up at our favourite pub.
Things we are not doing include washing the car, mowing the lawn, laundry, housework, and DIY.
Take the dog for a walk after 11 days straight in work, bonfire and tackle the garden gently!!
Contemplating going motorbike shopping
Off diving. Fingers crossed the wind stays tf away.
I’ve been working away this week and am cat sitting next week, so I should sort out all my laundry. However, it’s a beautiful sunny morning on the first day of my annual leave, so I will probably go for a walk by the river to say hello to the geese and see if I can spot any horrible little baby honkers yet. They’ll still be far too small to rush my ankles and try to violently mug me, but might see some in the distance.
I will be in a concrete block with no natural light for 9hrs.
Going on a rooftop tour of Lincoln cathedral with my old school/ workmate who I’ve known for over 50 years !
Painting my garden fences. Gah. There are a lot of them so I need to make sure I don’t start rushing and getting sloppy towards the end.
Just finished gardening (fair skinned so the earlier the better!), will put the washing out, into London for a birthday party and then back home for the sprint race
Going to pick up my new glasses this afternoon and then meet a friend for dinner this evening. I also need to re-house some tarantulas but that might be a tomorrow job.
At the gym waiting for my class to start. I feel this was a bad decision.
Anyway after I’ve about killed myself doing that, coffee, Tesco, then home to be lazy the rest of the day.
Spent all afternoon in the garden yesterday.
Feeling sore today!
I think I need to clean the shed out today. That’ll be a good job today… In no rush though.
So I’ll just do what I always do.. doss about give my muscles a chance rest.
I got food poisoning yesterday so I’m on the loo for the 3rd time today already. Plan is mainly gardening and painting with my wife and kids. But not sure now much I’ll be helping!
Going for a mental health walk in a group, in a park.
I’m sure there are plenty around, I think some even allow you to start a walk in your own area, if there isn’t one.
I’m going to see my mum today, and maybe make some banana bread to take with me. When I get back I want to do some gardening. I got one of the flowerbeds sorted out yesterday, and I’d like to do the other one today, while the weather’s nice.
Revising for mock exams (ie, watching bees in the garden)
Up early and round to the butcher for bacon, sausages, some more lamb koftas, and a large steak pie.
Still haven’t woken up properly, but off out for a leisurely walk into town along the river.
Already been out to walk the dogs.
Son has his toddler class then we’ll do a food shop and come home for naptime.
After nap we’re meeting a friend for a walk round the park and maybe coffee and cake at a cafe.
Wife and I are cutting our hair this morning then going to a birthday party this afternoon. I’ll see boyfriend this evening not sure what we’re doing yet.
After marking 30 exam papers…
Going to play crazy golf in the park and having a picnic.
With friends up in Aviemore on a biking weekend. I’ve learned the hard way that as much as I can keep up with the younger lads on the bike, I cannot match them drink for drink off it. It’s going to be a long day after last night’s session!
Am I still banned..?
Oh no. So today I get to help the mother in law move house. Whoop di chuffing doop.
Also in the middle of making an Iroko bath rack with a built in wine glass holder if I get time to work on it.
Having endless discussions with the wife about what we should do this weekend, and feeling guilty for not having more money and ideas.
Cleaning the house, taking the little one to Zippos Circus, then possibly a pub dinner
Great start to the bank holiday weekend with a big leak from the upstairs flat into ours. Seems to be from their washing machine so at least it smells like washing detergent..
No plans for today other than playing some *Split Fiction*.
No plans going for a run once I am out of bed and then some tidying!!
Lord Of The Rings marathon (extended editions of course). About 11 hours in total not including credits .
