I was checking the bus ticket price on the SBB website and found out there is a 1st class for bus (?) and it costs 33x more than the 2nd class.

Why is the price difference so large and what does 1st class mean for a bus ride?

Thanks in advance for the answer!

  1. Bus with a first class section? Never saw something like this, maybe they organise a taxi?

  2. This must be some kind of glitch. Busses don’t have classes and are 2nd class by default. When I select this connection (different date and time) and switch to 1st class, it’s only available as Chur city ticket (11.80 instead of 7.40).

  3. Does it come with a personal concierge service? Massage services?

  4. You become the driver for the price of 128CHF 🤷‍♂️

  5. There’s no second class in a Postauto. They’re all 1st class.

  6. Pro tip sometimes the first class his cheaper with supersaver tickets
