  1. Can be but probably asked to retake and given the answers

  2. I don’t understand why it took so long, in a sane world he should have just been asked to take the test again, and if the results were widely different told to leave.

  3. Does the time fit the crime? What happens if a citizen gets caught cheating in an English test? (Shouldnt he be allowed to remain if since the incident more than a decade ago he has been a net contributor to UK society?)Many have been allowed to remain for much worse

  4. Yeah right…if they risk getting shouted at in their home countries they will be allowed to stay

  5. 7 year legal battle… I don’t even want to know how much money has been wasted on this case. I’m on the left but it’s cases like this why Farage is going to be our next PM.

  6. I reckon over half the indigenous population couldn’t pass the test.

  7. Inaccurate headline – migrant isnt an asylum seeker. He came as a student in 2007 and he cheated in 2012 when extending his visa and claimed indefinate after 10 years here (2017). It was refused due to the cheating and he filed all possible tribunals which lasted 7 years

  8. It’s so weird making English a barrier for entry to England when half the native born can barely speak it or write it.

  9. It’s time we changed the law regarding the application of human rights to non genuine asylum seekers and illegal immigrants. Or the UK will lurch to the right, taken there by Dave and Barry who’ve written the manifesto down the White Lion.

  10. Legal battle for what? In cases like this, the person needs to pay back all the costs.

  11. I remember seeing people on TikTok live going through all the answers with them.

  12. Q: why are public services so bad?
A: because we’ve created a process that takes years and millions of pounds to get even simple things done.
