  1. Thank you people. Least bad outcome reached.

Edit: Thank you Donald T – without your idiocy we would have had the Temu version of you instead. Also thanks on behalf of our fellow Canadian friends who have likewise been spared this horrific fate.

  2. Special shout out to Donald Trump for making this possible. Our conservative party was a shoe in to win until came back.

Conservative Party leader is also at risk of losing his seat too.

EDIT: Temu Trump has lost his seat.

  3. Trump style government resoundingly rejected. Sanity retained down under.

  4. And the opposition leaders on track to lose his seat. Fantastic result

  5. Sounds like the Potato (the opposition leader) will lose his seat, glorious

  6. Looking like Dutton will lose his seat as well. Cunts getting Poilievre’d.

  7. First Canada, now Australia. A no to trump-style conservatives and the conservative leader losing his seat hahahaahahhaa bless.

  8. I don’t think people overseas are aware just how bad Liberal party (Conservative) lost. They were projected to win a a month ago. But they lost so bad, they might only get around 30 seats.

And Dutton the leader, might lose his by looks of things.

  9. Thank you Trump and Dutton for winning this election for Labor. Canada gave me hope that we were going to see the same thing.

This is the first time in 20 years a Prime Minister and Party have been returned to government. Don’t waste this opportunity.

  10. Dutton very much looking like losing his seat a la Poilievre

  11. Looks like Dutton, the conservative opposition leader, might lose his seat in parliament as well.

  12. Dutton really thought we’d want Temu Trump. And he’s probably lost his seat.

  13. I keep hearing about how the whole world is conservative though.

  14. I’m incredibly proud of Australia for rejecting such hateful politics and policies.

  15. Labor haven’t just beaten the conservatives, they’ve taken the corpse out back and desecrated it.

For non-Aussies, the swing AGAINST the conservative party has been mind-boggling.

The blood on the Liberal party room floor (our conservatives) tomorrow will be inches thick.

  16. Another rejection of culture wars which Dutton seemed so keen to try and stoke in Australia. Well done my fellow Aussies. We don’t need that shit here.

  17. Oh don’t mind me, just enjoying the LNP tears.

Is Voldemort going to lose his seat?

  18. Australia is so lucky not to have to worry about vote splitting (like in Canada) 😭

  19. I did my part! Fucking exceptional result. – get fucked Mr Potatohead!

  20. I think I might use a buttplug for the first time, in honour of this victory!

  21. I wish to thank ordinary Americans for making this possible.

Voting in Trump, his actions and the extent to which our right wing political party rattled the ideals and methodologies of your Republican party and MAGA has shocked enough of my fellow Australians to energize them into turning away from the path you are upon. It will hopefully freeze and possibly reverse the trend we have undergone, over decades, of the Americanization of our society.

  22. Just need Temu Trump to lose his own seat to cap off a beautiful evening

  23. Sky news – which is the fox news of australia – has called it for Labor (NOT the conservative party) in less than 2 hours after polls closed lol.

    What a crazy sweep.

  24. Watching the news about how much the Libs are getting massacred feels like porn you can watch with the whole family

  25. What a result. A lot of the people I work with are vulnerable and my phone is blowing up with messages of relief. A weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

  26. Only 25% of the votes have been counted but some stations have already called it for Labor. Apparently the coalition got wrecked in NSW and VIC, the two most populous states. Young voters have seemingly played an important part in the swing against the LNP. People are concerned about housing affordability and the cost of living.

  27. I think I speak for majority of Australians when I say this. FUCKEN OATH

  28. Dancing up and down, no more bullshit culture wars for the next 2 and a half years!

  29. Australia and Canada leading the way from this populist political bullshit, is just a correction to get us back to the best timeline possible.

It’s a first step but it’s one of many

  30. Before Trump got elected, it was projected that LNP would win easily.

Then Spud decided to follow in Trump’s footsteps – and now he’s projected to lose his own seat. 😂 ABC is calling it the lowest primary vote for LNP in history.

All your Horcruxes are destroyed, Dutton. Good riddance!

  31. The leader of the right wing Trump lite party just lost his seat (like in Canada) – thank fuck.!

  32. So as a leftist who doesn’t know anything about Australian poltics, is Labor good?

  33. It’s a great outcome. The conservatives ran on culture war nonsense, a ‘DOGE’ style attack on the public service and cutting our growing renewable initiatives in favour of a poorly planned nuclear energy drive.

Interestingly, it’s the first time we’ve had a PM stay in power across two elections in 20 years since there’s been so much inner party instability. A strong return to form for Labor.

Icing on top is that the conservative leader has lost his seat. It’s essentially a repeat of Canada last week.

  34. The US couldn’t get the blue wave happening. So it is happening everywhere else in the free world.

  35. Man, as an American I’m so envious of Canadians and Australians right now.

  36. Thanks trump. Australia truly owned the libs to the point where a ‘shoe in’ back in January and as late as Feb, looks like he’s going to lose his seat completely. Maybe their media adviser got confused when it came to ‘licking up liberal tears’.

  37. Dutton losing his seat is just the cherry on top. Well done Australia. Congratulations and greetings from Europe. 🇪🇺❤️🇦🇺

  38. For any non-australians out there.

Our conservative party heavily aligned themselves with Trump and got smacked out.

  39. Bloody hell, I’m proud to be Australian today. The mass rejection of Trump-style politics sends a clear message. Division won’t win here. This is what a healthy democracy looks like.

  40. I would like to take this moment to congratulate our friends in Australia for doing the right thing. Love from Sweden🇸🇪🇪🇺🇦🇺

  41. Honestly, thank you for your sacrifice Americans. You saved Canada and now us Aussies 🫡
