Yes but not really… So the dude creates a foundation, then procedes to donate some of the money to said foundation and spends he’s free time managing the foundation. That my friends is classic tax avoidance 🙂

Why not start a energy company that builds windmill and sun energyparks. He would have the start up capital and could get other investors and know how in. That way he would still make money but also change where the engery comes from that we need.
