Why set the bar so low and hope for Boris to be fined? He should resign if it is shown that he lied to parliament. He declared in parliament that “I am sure that whatever happened, the guidance was followed and the rules were followed at all times”, and these fines now prove that that was not the case. It’s now fairly conclusive that he lied to and misled parliament and the public.
He should have resigned about 10 times now. I know Labour have to say this but he’s not resigning. He’ll have to be kicked out to leave.
