Partygate: Prime minister should resign ‘if he broke COVID rules’, says Labour

  1. They really ought to substitute that “if” for a “because”. There’s lots of photographic evidence that he *did* break coronavirus rules.

  2. Why set the bar so low and hope for Boris to be fined? He should resign if it is shown that he lied to parliament. He declared in parliament that “I am sure that whatever happened, the guidance was followed and the rules were followed at all times”, and these fines now prove that that was not the case. It’s now fairly conclusive that he lied to and misled parliament and the public.

  3. He should have resigned about 10 times now. I know Labour have to say this but he’s not resigning. He’ll have to be kicked out to leave.

  4. Anyone completely shocked by this. Personally I thought Labour were going to say, “forget it, it’s done with. Let’s all move on. It’s not like he slapped someone at the Oscars.” /s

  5. Even his simpleton fans have turned against him and don’t like to talk about him. They pretend they’re suddenly not interested in politics.

Only the die hard lunatics are still supporting Tories and Boris now. There should be a mechanism to get rid.

  6. They should put pressure on Boris but not actually get him to resign. If the Conservatives switch leader before the next GE they’ll lay all blame on Boris and not the party.

The best way is to keep pointing out what a fraud of a PM we have and come GE time throw everything this idiot has done in the last few years into the news cycle.

  7. Labour says a lot of things… So do the Torys. Both are oxygen thieves.

It’s just a shame our country is led by donkeys.

  8. Incredible!!! There is no IF! Just ehen and how many times. Poor labour party. Not becoming smarter. Pew

  9. Why? Nothing else has stuck, why would he resign over this? Everyone will forget in a few weeks and we’ll lurch to the next incident

  10. How the hell do Labour look at *all of the bad shit that Boris Johnson and the Tories have done and are doing* and say “Yeah, him being within 6ft of someone is whats gonna make him resign”…

Like listen Kier, did you turn a blind eye to *literally everything else* or something? Jesus Fucking Christ, you’re the reason the Tories keep winning elections: Because theres no credible opposition to vote in instead. You’re all worried about “Are we anti-semetic or not” and “We dont want white people speaking at our conference”

And im saying that as someone who fucking HATES the Tories. Labour, sort your fucking shit out!

  11. Pffft… he has not resigned from having done more serious shit, what makes it even remotely possible that he’d resign over Labor’s and the public’s hurt feelings?

  12. He should, but he won’t.

And we’ll never know anyway, because they’re keeping the people who were fined a secret.

  13. *pretends to be shocked*. Seriously though, the opposition party wants their opposition to quit. This truly is a shocking turn of events

  14. No question about it, he did break the rules. It wasn’t just parties that were banned, normal work meetings were as well.
