Good work! Really impressed. They’d sell well too if you were inclined. I’ve seen other stuff done with coins on Etsy,
Class!
We genuinely had one of the most beautiful currencies before the Euro. The Euro isn’t bad but it had nothing on the Punt.
Wow this is really cool.
A man in a shop in a little craft shop in temple bar makes and sells similar to these. Very affordable and excellent quality.
Great work and I agree the old coins are so special
I have so many old Irish coins that I want to do this with, especially the horse. My dad wants to try, is it very difficult? He’s 76 lol
I appreciate the convenience and security of the euro but I do miss the fact that we used to have our own punt, especially with the Irish on it in the auld Gaelic script, even though I was barely alive for it. Nice work!
I would very much like to buy one of these if you were to sell them, this is so beautiful
Have you guys heard of Abu clothing? They do jewellery and clothing? It’s called Abu. Clothing. Ireland. They specialise in old Irish coin pieces either printed on jumpers, bags etc or they create earrings and necklaces of old coins!
Are you a jeweler by trade or did you just buy a saw / kit and give it a go ?
That’s really cool. We have a display of old Irish coins in my nans house.
