Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum drew a red line for Trump in a recent phone conversation, she told supporters at a public event on Saturday—saying she rejected his wishes to deploy U.S. troops within her nation.

  1. > “We will never accept the presence of the United States Army in our territory,” she said she told Trump, drawing applause and supportive chants from the crowd. “I told him, ‘No, President Trump, our territory is inviolable, our sovereignty is inviolable, our sovereignty is not for sale,'” the Mexican leader said.

After dealing with Bukele, the orange cult leader thought everything is for sale.

  2. Yeah, Donnie… keep your dogs in your own damn yard.

  3. Unlike Canada, Sheinbaum has often talked a big talk publicly only to immediately cave to Trump’s demands a day or two later.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

  4. The proposal to use force is not merely a lack of sophistication. It’s his intention to humiliate a foreign country, Mexico in this case.

  5. I’ve been saying for a while now that he’s going to occupy northern Mexico.

  6. What would happen if they did put American troops in Mexico would the cartels band together? And most important who would win? At what point does the American public push back and say no this isn’t what we want ?

  7. Wow, a classic strategy on annexation of a country. Someone been reading Russian and classic Roman invasion political strategies.

  8. Knows he can’t annex Canada, so I guess Mexico is the next best thing???

  9. The tragedy is that Mexico and the US are neighbours with a common problem. It would actually be logical to work together somehow for the benefit of both parties. Europe has lots of cross-border cooperation for mutual benefit.

Instead we have this complete shitshow where the US’s “help” is a bigger threat than the problem they’re supposedly meant to solve.

  10. At the the end of the day the Cartel run Mexico 🇲🇽 and she was told not to let the troops in. Bad for business 👩‍💼

  11. I heard they struck a deal and she allowed him to occupy New Mexico.

  12. Mexico, Canada, Greenland, Panama… Can the president of peace stop threatening war on fucking everyone

  13. In all seriousness the cartels would fight to their death on this, because we’ll it’s literally their fight.

  14. He won’t want to leave without taking minerals and land with him.

  15. A reminder that Trump has zero legal authority to attack Mexico in any way.

  16. Maybe if he agreed to allowing Mexican troops to operate in the US, Mexico would agree to US troops operating in Mexico.

  17. So, are they Austria, Czechoslovakia, or Poland in this timeline?

  18. If Trump sees no problem in sending in US Troops to Mexico to find alleged drug cartels then we can only assume that he would have no objection to Al-Qa’ida sending military to the USA to deal with Organized Crime.

  19. Without the express written permission of the Head of State or Ruling Body of a sovereign country, any military incursion into said country by another country is an **invasion** and can — and should — be considered **an act of WAR by that country.**

This is no different than Russia invading Ukraine. The “””reasons””” for the invasion are *irrelevant*, a military invasion **is still a military invasion**.

If Trump actually orders this, or orders anything similar with regards to any other sovereign country (vis-a-vis, Canada, Greenland, Panama, etc) **then that would be declaring WAR on that country, and no spin-doctoring of it can change that FACT.**

Now, that being said: I believe Congress would have to approve any such ‘order’ from Trump. Neither Mexico nor any other country is staging any sort of military attack on the United States, **regardless of any bullshit ‘excuses’ Trump makes about ‘invaders’ (read as: ‘immigrants’) crossing our Southern border**, therefore it’s unlikely to happen. HOWEVER: If Congress did approve it, I personally believe that the rest of the world should come to the defense of that country immediately, including NATO countries especially; the U.S. is still a NATO country, and NATO should police it’s own membership.

Donald Trump is a **terrorist** and his Administration is a **terrorist organization**, and the sooner everyone, within and outside the U.S. realizes and accepts this fact, the sooner we’ll rid ourselves of this growing threat to our democracy and the American way of life.

  20. Wish Panamá had a president with this set of balls. Props to México.

  21. I thought other countries problems were not the USA’s to solve? Isn’t that why they are pulling out of Europe and NATO? I guess this is just another example of how Republicans are lying sacks of shit.

  22. In before he calls her a nasty woman on Truth Social, because he’s the most predictable clown on the planet.

  23. Good. Don’t let him in, once you do that will be the first step for him to try to take land. F em

  24. Just the most anti-war POTUS in U.S. history threatening to invade yet another sovereign country.

  25. Trump demonstrating once again how dependant the US is on the rest of the world and how weak its power really is. Donald no friends really is kicking goals for Putin in undermining the US.

  26. MMW, if troops go into Mexico, Trump will try to annex Mexico.

  27. Damn right Mexican president say no to Trump’s “wishes.”

  28. She is no idiot. She can run circles around The imbecile Trump.

  29. “No new wars”

“Mexico mind a small tiny invasion?”

  30. The fuck? Did this dude really ask if he could deploy troops into a foreign country? Holy shit…

This worries me as a Canadian…

  31. We have had officers from our government do operations in conjunction with Mexican authorities in the past. If Trump wasn’t such an ass, this maybe could have been done again and accomplished something.

    Don’t be an ass kids.

  32. If Trump and the Republicans really wanted to do something about the Mexican cartels, they would STOP the flow of guns from the USA to Mexico.

  33. So this orange clowns subjects consume MASSIVE AMOUNTS of illicit drugs smuggled into his kingdom from the neighboring country. So. Instead of working to address the addiction his subjects have to the drugs, he targets the suppliers??
Doesn’t he realize that when one supply chain is cut off another 100 are waiting to step up??
It’s a lucrative business. Producers will find a way to supply his subjects. Worse case scenario the suppliers in the clowns kingdom step up and he has to turn his military against his own subjects.

  34. So to be clear: after this decision, if Trump attempts to put any boots in their territory, it would be viewed by the international community as a hostile invasion, right?

  35. Trump deploys troops and starts shit with the cartels.

The cartels retaliate and kill a handful of US soldiers.

Trump starts screaming about the lives of American soldiers and we invade Mexico.

    Tell me I’m wrong.

  36. Mexico literally sent their own firefighters to help fight the LA fires only a couple months ago. What a disgusting thing for Trump to say to her. I will never forget how Mexico helped save my hometown when they didn’t have to.
