U.S.-Canada relations have been in the headlines in the past few months for several reasons, including President Trump’s tariffs on Canadian imports and his suggestion that Canada could become the 51st state.
Prime Minister Mark Carney, whose Liberal Party government just returned to power in last Monday’s federal election, said earlier this year, “The old relationship we had with the United States…is over.”
