    On May 2, 2025, a Russian Su-30 was destroyed in the Black Sea by a special unit of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defense Forces of Ukraine – **this is the world’s first destruction of a combat aircraft by a Magura naval drone**.

    This is exactly the type of asymmetric solutions that they should be investing in. This weapon can make maintaining local air supremacy a challenge as the hit and run attacks would be constant and corrosive.

    By mounting cheap Sidewinder missiles onto inexpensive autonomous small craft that are easy to hide in garages and shelters you can never be sure you got them all and even small countries have the money and resources to produce these en masse.

  12. Would love to have me some Ukraine in NATO protecting the Eastern Flank. I think that would just about cement Europes security for the next century with Finland/Poland/Ukraine and our Baltic brothers who also punch above their weight.

  21. Everyone who’s watching this and cheering for Ukraine, that’s good. Everyone who’s watching this and saying, this will be good for Taiwan in a couple of years, that’s good too.

    What you should be worried about is the people in the United States who are watching this, and still thinking that an invasion of Mexico would be super easy, barely an inconvenience. This shows that asymmetric warfare is not solved problem, and even “minor” nations now have the capability to make powerful militaries and the populations within feel pain.
