  1. Before the full-scale war, Dmytro Rusnak was working in Germany to gain medical experience. When the invasion began, he returned to Ukraine to become a military anesthesiologist. He says that his decision to join the Defense Forces was influenced by his Ukrainian-language education, family history, and a desire for change in the country.

    In this video, Dmytro explains why he, like millions of Ukrainians whom Russian propaganda uses to justify the war, has decisively risen against Russian aggression.
