‘I can’t wash in my own home’: Mum forced to use neighbour’s toilet for 10 years as housing repairs ignored

2. I feel for her, but also how did the neighbours put up with it for 10 years? Unless they are relatives, but even so, it’s 10 years of constantly invaded privacy.

3. She needs to sue the shit out of that housing association (pun intended)

4. In the old days they pooped in a bucket & threw it out of the window in the [mornings](https://englandspuzzle.com/the-social-history-of-the-toilet/#:~:text=Public%20toilets%20were%20not%20a,just%20about%20to%20be%20emptied). 

   A couple of bucketfuls later they’d have repaired the toilet rapidly. 

5. 10 years? That’s on her and her family.
