  7. It’s a terrible week for conservative Trump wannabe opposition leaders. First, Pierre Poilievre gets kicked out of his seat in Canada, and now Peter Dutton gets kicked out of his seat in Australia.

    And here’s a fun fact: Peter Dutton is now the first Opposition leader in Australia to lose his seat in a federal election.

  13. The new administration here in U.S. seems to have alienated allies like no one in recent history. However, it is refreshing to know that despite all the anti Trump sentiment that gave the right winger the boot, Australians do not have a problem with Americans, it is directed against the new administration.

  16. The UK, Canada and Australia have all now roundly rejected conservative/Trumpian bullshit in the past year at national election level. Hopefully this trend will continue across all democratic western nations, isolating Trump’s America further and destroying it economically. Then America can one day return as a better, more humble country.
