  1. I saw in a short clip today, Putin saying that Ukraine is trying to provoke Russia with Terrorist attacks. I don’t think Putin realizes everyone is well informed in today’s world. 20 years ago he could say that and get away with it, but not anymore.

  2. Why should anyone honor their ceasefires/pauses/timeouts/whatever. After the blatant lack of honor, the terror, the lies, etc.. No, they don’t deserve any peace.

    I don’t think cynicism is the right term. Parts are missing. He took pleasure in hearing his ex-wife scream as he pinched her so hard it left her covered in bruises. And he poisoned someone with polonium to hide his attraction to young boys. Bits of a human are missing.

    That semi-human causes pain across the globe. It’s beyond cynicism.

  7. I trust Zelenskyy and Budanov to decide whether there’s more upside than downside to embarrassing Putin on May 9. “Does an action achieve strategic or tactical advantage, does it help Ukraine survive” – that’s their lens.

    That’s Ukraine’s big advantage multiplier in situations like these – leaders focused on the country’s survival and not ego.
