There was a radio discussion about this a day or two ago. Ironically the driver of him showing the image was as part of a completely-in-context discussion about religious intolerance and discussing the Charlie Hebdo murders.

If you are threatening someone’s life over a depiction of a guy that’s been dead for what a thousand years ? You need sectioned. You are clearly a danger to yourself and others.
It’s hard to believe this has been allowed to happen.

The issue will always be that if you criticise the Islamic faith, you’ll be accused of racism, even if it’s not remotely about skin colour, but rather cultural differences. Does everyone remember that time where those people made fun of Jesus, the Budda and abraham and all those loonies wanted to kill them?
Unless you are unlucky enough to live amongst these religious communities, then you will never understand what the fear is like of being an outsider living on their turf.
