an Irish passport wielded correctly is also a deadly weapon.
Being in the EU, and the CTA with the UK helps. Ireland being a nation that doesn’t have a colonising/militaristic past probably helps too (there are probably places you wouldn’t want to show a US/UK/French passport).
Didn’t this come out a few years ago?
Japan was the best and we were in top 5 or something.
That’s cause they stacked all the passports in a pile and put ours on top
It’s a bit nonsense though – I’d rank any EU passport top because you can not just visit, but live and work permanently in any other EU country. Then we can go down the ‘visa free’ part, but it’s definitely worth a lot less.

I’ve never seen my passport do drugs.

Ireland is the capybara of the world. A big giant rat that’s cool with everyone
This isn’t news at all, it has been amongst the top for well over a decade.

Must be very slow news day.
