The prime minister lying is a very serious reason to resign.
So two things will happen. He either won’t receive a FPN even though he attended the same parties because “iT wAs At hIs HoUSe sO hE hAd tO Be tHeRe”, or he’ll receive a FPN and they’ll say he didn’t technically break the law because paying the fine isn’t admission of guilt.
I was listening to the transport minister demonising the boss of P&O on the radio the other morning and genuinely thought he was talking about Boris and his illegal parties and lies. Every one of the things he accused P&O boss of, applied to Boris as well !
