  1. Drove past that a few times last year when they had it in Southend I think towards the end of the Summer, it gets moved around a bit
Its a good piece of art in terms of what it represents and the message it conveys

  2. That’s hard. More statues should be made out of thousands of blades.

  3. this is like building a giant flaming wheel for those who died in a car crash

  4. Seen it a couple times, in Coventry and Bolton. Cov was a few years ago, Bolton more recently – still a powerful art piece.

  5. NGL I kinda hate it –
Like the face for one – Guy looks a bit miffed
the second the pose – why are his hands out – he’s seems a bit confused on where he left his keys.

Love the idea, but the execution is ehhh

Ironworks Centre also made a ‘Knife Bee’ from knives and guns, with the bee symbolising industrious Manchester and the construction from weapons representing the city’s intolerance of violence.

This is basic in pose, but a Bee with Knives and Guns looks so fucking cool and invokes a better message

  6. Saw it in Worcester, it was rather large not bad statue at all

  7. I saw this in Leeds, I found it bizarre that the statue looks like Michael Myers

  8. They put it in Wrexham a few years back in the town centre, was actually pretty amazed by it up close an how huge it is.
