  1. Couldn’t they just like, change the lyrics a bit?

  2. “Yesterday, with just weeks to go before the band make their return to the stage after 16 years, it was reported that, in an effort to keep relations sweet between the two previously warring brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher will be kept apart backstage, with separate green rooms and party spaces for their independent entourages.”

Lol this tour is going to blow apart so hard

  3. What’s the over/under this tour doesn’t last as long as the Jane’s Addiction tour?

  4. These two are the worst — they single-handedly destroyed their own careers and this band’s reputation admit it oasis is washed up. Nobody needs this tour.

  5. “Hello – the opening track from their breakthrough 1995 album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? – contains lyrics written by disgraced former UK pop star Gary Glitter – and will not be performed at the band’s forthcoming stadium gigs, The Sun newspaper reports.

Hello originally had frontman Liam Gallagher singing “Hello, Hello, it’s good to be back, it’s good to be back” with a melody from Glitter’s original 1973 track Hello, Hello, I’m Back Again playing underneath.

“It would be inappropriate to play it given its connotations to Glitter and his convictions.””

    Saved you a click!

    (Edited to correct punctuation)

  6. I just never saw the excitement over this meh emo band. They are not even in the same ballpark as the Beatles

  7. Why is the one on the left giving a Blue Steel face?

  8. The royalties from Glitter’s music were diverted from him so the record company could make money again. Rick and Roll Part II was on The Joker and no one batted an eye.

  9. And yet every high school marching band and commercial still plays his “Yeah” song

  10. No big loss, they have dozens of better songs.

  11. Sure, lots of pop songs have stupid lyrics but that Glitter track takes the cake. It’s 3 minutes of him announcing he’s back

  12. I wouldn’t expect that kind of tact/sensitivity by either of them to be honest when this is nothing but a money grab

  13. I was hoping that was going to read “Oasis drop reunion plans because they suck”.

  14. Doubt it, Liam performed this song multiple times on tour in 2022. Bot to mention, Norl likes the song too.

  15. If we cancel every song that is in some way attributed to a horrible person, we will literally not have any music left. It’s just a melody, like who fucking cares?
