ENDICOTT, N.Y. (WBNG) — Little Italy in Endicott was packed on Sunday as folks made their way down to the spring market.
The “Vendor Craft Goods Fair” was held at the Little Italy Endicott Heritage Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the fourth year the event has been held, but it has alternated between a spring and a holiday market.
More than 20 vendors from small, local businesses lined the space, selling everything from art and decor to jewelry and sweet treats. Event coordinators Loreta Paniccia and Lynn Orlando said they’re thrilled to support local entrepreneurs and appreciate the community support.
“To see people leave knowing that they bought something that was special, either for themselves, or Mother’s Day, or for a friend, it really touches us deeply,” said Paniccia and Orlando.
If you could not make it to Sunday’s market, the coordinators said many of the vendors present will return for the farmers market. The Little Italy Endicott Farmers Market begins on May 29 every Thursday evening for 13 weeks from 4 to 7 p.m.
