1. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday took a dig at some European countries, saying India was looking for partners and not preachers who do not practice the same principles at home. He also said that Europe was getting a reality check as it was finally seeing the realities of multipolarity today.

   Speaking at the Arctic Circle India Forum 2025, Jaishankar said, “When we look at the world, we look for partners, we don’t look for preachers. Particularly, preachers who don’t practice at home what they preach abroad. Some of Europe is still struggling with that problem.”

2. Too many words and not enough action from Europe. Europe got too complacent with US hegemony. Now that US influence is waning, Europe doesn’t have as much to offer the rest of the world to align with its western values because it let its power and competitiveness deteriorate.

3. I don’t know why anyone would want a multipolar world. By courting America, Europe is throwing away all of its competitive edge and defense. When you push America away for long enough, they will actually leave. And there’s no one to replace them. Most people outside of Europe like America better. There’s no place for morality in geopolitics, and I agree that Europe is in for a wake-up call.

4. Multipolarity looks like the world of the 1800, I’m not sure going back there is appealing either.

6. Huge amount of preaching that is now on the verge of supporting a terrorist state through the IMF.

   And Europeans are smart so they know whats happening on ground.

   And then, after all this, they expect us to support them on Russia and the like.

   Do better Europe.
