Their film industry is being ruined by them. They mass produce crap and only make whats trendy with no thought or passion anymore, they also gatekeep hollywood with nepotism, back in the day youd see new actors constantly, now its just the same select few thats been around for ages in every movie. Hollywood is a a big cult now . Back just 20 years ago they would release banger after banger now we lucky if we get one good movie every other year.
Easier to blame others ofc but since when did americans watch foreign films. Maybe we should ban them from remaking european films then since thats half the movies they make 🙂
To be honest, I think the main country that will be affected by this is Canada, as many US movies and shows used to be shot there.

Now I’m glad that I’ve been heavily limiting my consumption of American media and popular culture. Not in a negative “f* America” way, but to explore different countries. Now, I’ll be doing it out of spite.
