Hi everyone,
I'm currently in a legal fight to stay in Finland as an LGBT+ person who left my home country to escape discrimination and danger. Being forced to return would put me at serious risk simply because of who I am.

I'm doing everything I can through the courts, but I need public support to show that this matters — that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to be themselves.

I've started a petition to raise awareness and show that I belong here, in a country where I can live openly and without fear.
Please sign and share if you can: https://www.change.org/help_me_stay

Your support — even just sharing — means more than I can say. Thank you.

  1. Do you have a job? a study place? or do anything to be here legally? How can they deport you if you already here?

  2. The support of online strangers is unlikely to help your case.

You will have to work through the bureaucracy of this with the relevant authorities. To clarify your existing ability to stay, or to renew it, or to obtain the legal right to reside in Finland.

Or, if it is apparent that you will not be able to continue to stay in Finland (no permission and no time or possibility to obtain it), make preparations on moving to some other country and handle the migration or asylum type processes there. So that you do not end up in some sort of stateless limbo or dangerous place.
