If the result had been the other way around he’d be taking the credit, pointing out that it was his strategist who was sent over who made all the difference, how he’d never heard of Albanese, Dutton’s a great person, etc. Nothing Trump says is worth the breath used to utter it, anyone who supports that clown is a deeply unserious human.

  16. Trump probably only knew Dutton was a liberal and he hates liberals.

Our former Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who was the predecessor of Dutton as the leader of the LNP (and who hilariously also lost his own seat as the sitting Prime Minister in the 2022 election), and Gina Rinehart, who is Australia’s wealthiest person and the biggest funder of regressive right wing politics in Australia (and a terrible terrible person), both spent last New Years Eve at Mar a Lago with Mr. Trump.

    Trump may have forgotten who Dutton is because he’s (1) incredibly stupid, and (2) he has dementia. But in reality he’s probably simply lying.

    Despite the fact that the Liberal Party here is Centre Right, and is actually generally less Conservative than the Republican party.
