Slovenia recorded a trade surplus of EUR 903.9 million in March 2025, reversing a deficit of EUR 63.63 million in the same month last year.
Exports surged by 50% year-on-year to EUR 7,647.5 million, driven primarily by a 107.3% jump in shipments to non-EU countries, while exports to EU member states edged up by just 0.4%.
Meanwhile, imports increased by 30.6% to EUR 6,743.6 million, reflecting a 63.2% rise in purchases from non-EU countries and a more moderate 3.2% gain from EU partners.
For the first quarter of 2025, Slovenia recorded a cumulative trade surplus of EUR 3,184.7 million.
