  4. I am going to start by saying Trump is a complete moron and the world would be better off if he dropped dead tomorrow.

    This is not Trump renewing his threat though. This is Trump being pressed by a interviewer and not wanting to completely back down on previous statements. Its a shitty journalist pulling a gotcha to get views and push their agenda. Its the same thing with Canada. He dropped the 51st state rhetoric until journalists kept bringing it up.

  7. A pattern I have observed is that he raises Greenland, and sometimes Ukraine, when he feels on the back foot with challenges to his power and ambition to control all facets of US government. If, for example, the Supreme court is going to give him a nudge of challenge, or if the threat of consumer discontent from tariffs is getting him concerned.

    What he is clearly doing, as a narcissist, is using these as a sort of theatre to reorganize how far he can go at home. If Greenlanders can be made American by force or coercion, then it devalues what it means to be American. Many dictatorships consolidate power this way. This isn’t to say that there isn’t a real threat he will try to follow through to take Greenland… just that when it pops into his head, its typically a moment he’s feeling insecure or uncertainty on the domestic front.

    He is going to kickstart world war 3. And it will end with nukes.

    This will be bad if he doesn’t get impeached and voted out.

  14. Donald Trump has no legal authority to attack and annex Greenland.

    Any military commander that follows an illegal order to do so has broken their oath to serve and protect the country and its constitution and will face the consequences of that decision down the line.

    He’s 78 and clearly losing what little mind he had. If you want to commit illegal acts with him, you’d better take that into account.

    Donny is ok with his own citizens being deported from the US, so he will be delighted when his citizens get deported back home from foreign lands.

  20. Invading a sovereign nation is an act of war, in any world of which I’m aware. That is the kind of raw aggression that Russia is guilty of committing in Ukraine. It is a criminal act that only a tyrant would consider. There is absolutely no justification for it, and if the U.S. were to actually do it, the outraged citizens of this country should demand his impeachment. It is immoral, unconstitutional, and utterly repugnant to even suggest such a thing. If the story is true that Trump, when he became aware he was losing the election the last time out, that he actually tried to provoke a war with China in order to declare martial law in this country and seize the ballot boxes, and the instruments of the election. A high ranking military officer refused to give the order. It sounds very much like something he might have done. And every soldier so ordered would have to search his conscience before obeying such an order. If I recall the words of my oath when I enlisted during Vietnam, it included “A formal declaration in which I swore and affirmed that I would support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.” How far is he willing to go in his quest for absolute power? If you value your freedom and your country you had better ask yourself that question. If his objective is to completely destroy everything that is good about America, he’s doing a damned good job. The man is power mad, and in my book a great deal of what he does and says is utterly insane. How in the name of God and all that’s holy did we end up with this cretin in the white house, not once, but twice? The man is completely off the rails, and those who support him are complicit in his crimes.

    No one is fooled by this Mr Carrot, it’s just your daily attempt at trying to control the media and maybe some minerals but it’s not like you’ll ever carry that through. Greenland is just a great candidate for throwing out empty threats without consequences.

  29. Im so tired. I want to protest and defend our constitution, but I am slowly being drained of energy. The more I listen to Trump and his sycophant political associates the more worried I become that we are living under coup detate. Laws are bypassed, judges are ignored and threats of retribution are made against anyone, or any corporation that dares to stand up to the blatant over reach.

    My Maga friends( its becoming harder and harder to say” friends”) do not seem concerned at all. As if in lockstep they say. This is all to take back our country. We must make America great again. The other political party wants crime and civil unrest. WE MUST regain control of our courts, our police and our military. We will not allow any more stolen elections bring a president who loves illegal immigrants to take place.

    If the followers of a Pied Piper do so willingly and without question, how can we have thoughtful discussion? So far the most thoughtful response was, if Trump tries to do something outside of his authority the judicial branch will reign him in. The caveat was, judges who only disagree with policy should be ignored. They should also be fired.

    I ask everyone, does this type of thought not bring back historical memories of a dreadful regime that led to WW2?

    I AM TIRED AND SCARED.

  30. America needs a civil war. It won’t be long until we see foreign governments from the EU, Russia, maybe even Canada, and others funding rebel Democrat groups. I could see the average person across the world sending funding to oppose Trump.

    Everyone in the US should have a storage of non-perishables. There’s a strong chance riots break out once the full effects of the tariffs hit hard.

    America really screwed up not putting this dumb ass behind bars.
