DUNWOODY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The suspect accused of hitting a man with a car outside of a Dunwoody sports bar has turned himself in to authorities.
Police said that the suspect, identified as Sheldon Mayers, turned himself in at the DeKalb County Jail on Wednesday, April 30 around 10 p.m.
Mayers is accused of intentionally hitting a man with a car after a fight outside The Bird at 4719 Ashford Dunwoody Rd. Police investigation suggests that Mayers and the man started fighting inside the establishment before being kicked out.
Witnesses told police a car intentionally hit the victim in the strip mall’s parking lot before speeding off.

According to police, the victim is still in the hospital in stable condition.
