Pub that falsely accused family of dining and dashing forced to pay them £75,000

4. I’m glad they are getting a decent sum of money for the false accusations. Whether it was an honest error or not, these people were put on blast to the public and many won’t hear the follow-up that they were innocent of the allegations. 

5. “They went on to say: “There was no dishonesty involved from our staff, it was an honest mistake but we have dismissed the member of staff responsible for the error.”

   So the staff member gets blamed for the owners decision to stick this all on Facebook.

6. If it was an honest mistake, like they said. Why did they sack the server?

   Edit to add, they’ve got a 4.4 rating on Google. Hardly seems fair, does it?
