“Every parent’s nightmare”: Monster travelled around country to target children

A monster who travelled the country to target children has been sentenced to two decades in prison.

Michael Lymath groomed children as young as 12 on social media before attempting to meet them in his van. Lymath was also found to have a note entitled 'long term plans', showing a list of rules for his planned f future victims.

The Echo reports that Lymath preyed on his underage victims online under various guises that included claiming to be a teenage boy who liked to play online games. But in reality Lymath, now 43, manipulated, bribed and threatened his victims – some as young as 12 years of age – into sending him illicit images of them performing sex acts on themselves before he made attempts to continue his depraved plans in person, either in hotels or in the back of his van.
