  1. No. No more wars. Grandfather, brothers and cousins fought in W2 and Korea, not all came home. Father and uncles were in Vietnam, again not everyone came home. Myself, brothers and cousins fought in Iraq/Afghanistan, not everyone came home.

    Enough is enough.

  2. Of course she did. The cartels in Mexico functionally are the government of Mexico. She would be going to war against her own interests and would not likely survive a month after making the agreement. The only way to break the cartels is to end the war on drugs through legalization and deprive the cartels of their source of wealth.

  3. Sheinbaum presumably fears the destablishing effects on US intervention. Such intervention would trigger an inevitability slide from law enforcement to counter insurgency. Drone strikes on civilian areas is not good for social, economic or political stability.

  4. Complains about migrants coming from Mexico for better opportunities.

    Offers to declare open warfare against Mexico. Which will in turn increase the number of migrants coming from Mexico.

    Deeply unserious people.

  5. Trump seems to think every problem should be solved with guns and bombs. These cartels are a lot more advanced and closer to America than our average enemies. You want terrorism in America created by the cartels? Attempts at a conventional war against them will absolutely bring out the worst violence America has seen since 9/11.

    The solution to the fentanyl crisis is actually pretty simple, if we treated drug addiction like a mental illness rather than a crime and regulated the recreational drug market. If there is a safe alternative and legal market to the people addicts are buying their heroin or cocaine from, there will no longer be a market for blackmarket filler synthetic opiates

  6. Considering where the troops are coming from I can’t blame him. Only thing more dangerous than being an enemy of America is being an ally of them. US intervention would probably harm innocent Mexicans more than any Cartel criminals.
