It can join the Moskva in the submarine fleet!
“Plagued by design flaws, poor maintenance, its obsolete Mazut fuel system, and numerous accidents (fires, sunk dry dock), the ship requires tugboat escorts and saw carrier qualification halt after crashes in Syria. Its sailors have reportedly been transferred to fight as infantry in Ukraine.”
I don’t think “worried” is the right word there. Maybe “feigned concern while giggling a little” is too on the nose.
Um…they not to worried I bet.
Is “worried” the right word?
I would be worried at the amount of toxic waste that’ll result from it sinking. With the Mazut, and all the shit that’s gathered over the years, that thing is going to cause a natural disaster
Weird post title OP, since the article itself says it’s been stuck in drydock for years.
Worried? 🙂
“Worried” appears to be doing some heavy lifting here.
It should be towed out of the environment.
I rather hope they keep pouring more good money after bad attempting to keep her viable..The state the thing is in and the cost of running even a reliable aircraft carrier says to me the best thing is for Russia to keep coning itself it needs to maintain a maritime airpower capability it would never actually have in any reliable way.
This article is dogshit. No new news; the “worry” is from the last time it sailed… in 1991.
Just a article retelling all the Kunetsov memes with an AI generated header image to top it off.
Worried is the right term. You worry for your friends. The new US is on very friendly terms with Russia- votes with them at the UN, spares them tariffs, pressures Ukraine to surrender, etc
I’m worried it’ll sink. That carrier could kill more by sinking and poisoning wildlife than it ever could in combat and if it does sink it allows russia to use resources and money that is being invested in this piece of junk to use against Ukraine.
“Its sailors have reportedly been transferred to fight as infantry in Ukraine.” What a career.
It’s an environmental catastrophe waiting to happen.
I’m not.
Tbh the Kuznetzov sinking is probably the best outcome for the Russian navy. It would force them to actually switch to a viable carrier strategy rather than dumping money into an old piece of shit that should have been decommissioned decades ago.
For once
Ain’t our ship
This is really bad. As of now the Kuzestnov was a budget black hole. I hope it keeps draining resources forever
I am more worried why it hasn’t sunk yet.
To the extent it sucks resources it is helpful to Ukraine as is.
Might sink?
More like, might finish sinking.
Train of thought:
“US military” _oh god, what is it now_
“Worried Russia’s aircraft carrier” _Oh shit…_
“Might sink” _… hahahahaha_
Would they be the third or forth time it sinks? At least it will be without the floating dry dock this time…
What can be better than your Enemy having an aircraft carrier that can not be used, costs massive amounts of money and the need to have one for their ego 😂
Good for all of Europe that russia is in this position. We should make sure that pile of shit does not sink and will cost Vladi millions after millions without ever being useful
Not to worry Trump is PRO PUTIN
Thoughts and prayers! 🥳
>It is currently in Murmansk harbor and will probably stay there until someone with leadership skills and common sense scraps it.
That might be a while
Why????
Was Trump building a hotel on it??
🙄
Might sink???? is there a book running on this I would never take the bet as the odds would suck
Its natural state is being on fire and its crew got converted into infantry.
This isn’t an Onion article?
