  1. Trump is a puppet of the extractive industries and the tech broligarchs, both of whom are connected at the hip with the military industrial complex running in third place. This has been the holy triumvirate for a long time, but few sources give it the attention it deserves. The extractive industries provide energy that financial technology was designed to measure. The military is the largest customer of the oil industry as everyone already knows. The feedback loop follows, with the tech industry originating out of the military and oil finance and creating ever more applications and advances for the military; meanwhile the military industry expands into surveillance, creating ever more needs for the tech bros to fulfill. It’s all connected. None of these people believe in any kind of “environment” or nature. In fact their very existence demands the total destruction of nature and its replacement with concrete and silicon. When humanity is forced to move underground due to the climate crisis and agriculture completely collapses due to the destruction of nature, they will proclaim how wonderful it was for the short time they created all that value for their shareholders.
