There is a very, very, very long road ahead. Good people are already “on the ground” in Ukraine to treat the trauma, and do so well. We know so much more about recovery than we did even twenty years ago. Major differences for Ukraine include your identity, community, determination, faith, compassion, and commitment to one another. You know who you are and you know what you’re fighting for. The trauma is there and severe; there is no denying it. And ALSO the Ukrainian spirit will persevere.
