No this is an urban myth, there is a Nachtruhe Gesetz where after 22.00 you have the right to be able to sleep. Nobody cares if you flush after 22.00. The whole not allowed to flush thing started in the 1980 when a fight between neighbors escalated and one idiot would flush his toilet every 5min to annoy his neighbor.
This whole thing is one of the “don’t be an asshole law” where the state has the possibility to punish you if you’re a wanker.
I don’t get it. That’s standard, isn’t it? I mean, who doesn’t have the landlord on quick dial?

Never had an issue guess our appartment is sound proof… I am vaccumimg and doing laundry sometimes at night times lol. Every sunday i do at least 2 laundry loads
