I saw this in the 90s for the Queen Mothers birthday and it was really impressive. They charged down the park from Marble Arch and stopped, unhooked the guns and the horses went racing back.. then they fired in sequence and the ground shook. It was total accident that I was there but it stuck with me
Mate I was at the traffic lights in hyde park corner when they started, I thought something was kicking off.
