  1. The poor guy is in hell. One of the smartest politicians of our generation having to listen to the idiocy of one of the dumbest politicians in world history.

  2. Honest to god as a Canadian its insufferable to hear Trump ramble on!

While I feel glad that our leader is actually competent, I feel sorry for American democracy!

  3. If the clown ever stops talking Carney might get to say some other things.

  4. Trump is so dumb he doesn’t understand why Trudeau isn’t there.

  5. This is about the US auto industry dependency on Canadian know-how. Maybe Canada is now poised to invent its own EV ‘Beetle’ and go maverick?

  6. Can we get a mask diaper for this verbal diarrhea dementia patient?

My god, every time I listen to him rambling about Biden, Obama, Trudeau I lose a little faith in humanity and democracy.

  7. What a fucking monkey. I don’t know how else to describe how painful and a waste of my fucking time listening to that orange fat worthless gelatiness piece of shit ramble on. There was nothing coherent coming of his vomit inducing rant. And America thinks they’ll convince the world this is leadership? Garbage president.

  8. To all the Yanks reading this – the fact we are subjected to your embarrassment of a leader is simply unacceptable. I feel embarrassed for you. Fucking cringe.

Your leaders and his sycophants are a plague and curse to the world. He is so obviously a demented moron and your country voted for him twice.

Every word out of his mouth regarding our country is stupid, and he makes himself more hated every time. You voted for enmity and I hope you get what you wanted.

  9. Did he say Ovechkin is a Canadian? Maybe the most offended I’ve been by anything hes said

  10. I like how he went on a rant about Gavin Newsome’s railway and the rant before that was incomprehensible.

  11. Compete boycott on any product made or manufactured in the US. I’m done with theirs rhetoric and disdain for my proud country. Time for Canada to entice more companies to invest them trillions in Canada, a reliable trading partner that honors agreements.

  12. Looking at the two sides of that discussion.

On the left you have professional states people. Carney is smooth, well spoken, concise and clear.

On the right, you have high school drop outs in suits. Vance looks like he is in a remedial math class he doesn’t want to be in. Trump is rambling incoherently on every point. Off track like someone who has drank too much coffee and is nervously spewing babble-salad.

  13. Half of our country really thinks this man and his incoherent ramblings are even remotely true… is this country really that uneducated?

  14. Amongst Trump’s confusion on the facts was that he thinks Ovechkin is from Canada and Trudeau lost the election.

  15. Millhouse would have burned our flag 🇨🇦 on the white house lawn with Smith on speaker.

  16. CARNEY handled it with grace and diplomatically. But i could feel he is raging inside but just wants to be the adult in the room! To all Americans, you don’t subsidize Canada!! All Trump is rambling are all complete lies! He makes our skin crawl!

  17. Listening to that entire press conference was embarrassing. Feral, rabid press screaming over each other to ask nonsensical questions that had nothing to do with Canada, Trump rambling endlessly and incoherently about utter stupidity like Alcatraz, JD Vance sucking up to him like a little schoogirl… Is America on meth? What the fuck is wrong with that country.

It feels like the WWE has taken over American politics

  18. As an American I was hoping Carney would just walk out of the conference. Trump is an embarrassment and there’s no point in “negotiating” with him. You’d be better off building your trade alliances with other nations. The USA is heading for hard recession and we completely deserve it. The rest of the world should join together and refuse to negotiate with the USA until we have a new leader (either through Trump being impeached, him stepping down or a new election in 3+ years). Most of us here would understand and support you. Our country is an embarrassment

  19. There was one adult in that room.

The table is set, we, Canadians, are in good hands.

  20. Never say Never…. (It is one of the worse rebuttal by a leader ever )

  21. He also slyly “compliments” Trump because he “revitalized” the world’s take on international security. The fucking troglodyte proudly smiles and says “that’s true!” not realizing that the rules of international security are being rewritten because he, his team and his policies are so stupid that the rest of the world can’t trust the US anymore.

  22. Due diligence. Carney can now pull out the stops and effect a divorce from the US. Nobody can accuse him of not first making an effort at reconciliation.

  23. I tend to go out of my way to avoid Trump speaking these days, but I did watch quite a bit of this, and as a Canadian it’s been a long time since I’ve been this angry, appalled, disgusted, revolted, pick your word.

The things Trump said with Carney sitting there next to him… I shouldn’t be surprised but I still can’t quite believe it. You could see from Carney’s body language he was having to try harder and harder to keep his calm, and when Trump started inventing things that Trudeau said on a previous call he couldn’t contain himself any more – and that’s when Trump’s handlers cut the press conference.

I hope Carney never agrees to do one of these puppet shows again. Trump gets people in to see how much they can take. I don’t like watching bullies trample all over people – and I know Carney did an amazing job, and I absolutely think he’s the man for the job, but he shouldn’t HAVE to sit there and take that. No one should be giving Trump live TV time like that any more.

    Ugh.

I want to go and punch things.
