  1. Thanks to the glorious weather, the elder nearby was covered in blooms. Managed to pick enough to make 7 litres of cordial! Will be giving most of it away to friends and neighbours (especially the neighbour who has the tree in their garden).

    Also, new mattress is starting to feel just right and my sleep has definitely improved.

  2. After having a chest infection for ten days, I managed to sleep through the whole night for the first time in ages 💪🏻

  3. I was in trouble for overstepping with Someone Else’s Child who was moaning for hours a day, except one bollocking has stopped the whining completely which had been a problem for months and she’s decided to be happy instead now so we’ve decided to look past my bad behaviour and sweep it under the carpet.

    In my defence I was overtired and on my last nerve.

  4. Got a three day Reddit suspension yesterday so I thought I’d have a go at appealing it.

  5. Splurged at Costco and bought proper wall mounted air conditioning units for the bedroom & living room. Come at me, summer heatwave, I’m ready for you 🙂

  6. I won on the Euromillions! So I’ll be treating myself to a Mars bar at lunchtime and maybe even a can of pop if £2.50 will stretch that far.

  7. It’s been a bit of a week. Within 3 days, and before we even realised what we were dealing with, 3 of our cats came down with a cold. Full on sneezing, watery eyes, congestion – my word, they all, in their turn, looked *miserable*. I didn’t even know cats could catch colds. We were most worried about the eldest, who is 18, and she did have a couple of hard days but she’s been up and about and into the garden this morning! She still sounds bunged up and she’s tired, but she’s definitely over the worst. The Calico Calamity lives to see another day! 9 lives, baby!

  8. I’m not working this week and have been incredibly productive getting odds and sods done around the house. The garden should be getting done at the weekend where the weather will be a tad warmer and sunnier.

  9. Woke up and not feeling like sh*t this morning. So I suppose that’s a win?

  10. I’ve only had a few hours sleep. I didn’t put my head down until about 4am, maybe a bit later, as I was working last night and then my dog woke me up an hour or so ago. I felt something on my bed and it was her fidgeting, but I got the cutest face staring back at me. I’m hoping I can get some more sleep soon as I’m working again tonight.

  11. Moved cities and got a new job pretty much immediately – yay!

    I’ve just left the house to get some bits for Greek night tonight, and have immediately seen 5 different neighbourhood cats. What a great day.

  12. My boyfriend just offered to make us a nice dinner tonight! Jerk salmon and mango slaw. And he’s even getting stuff to make beef stew for tomorrow! Excited.

  13. First day with a newborn! Labour was more complicated than anticipated but most importantly everyone is safe. Hopefully home tomorrow to our new born bubble and to devour my body weight in blue cheese, sushi and rare steak!
