Hej!

A good friend of mine is working on a research trying to find out "How can economists measure happiness, living standards and deprivation and to what extent do current survey methods accurately capture the experiences of affected populations" for the Open University of the United Kingdom and he's now working on his final thesis for it.

For that, he developed a small questionnaire to gather some insight and, as I live in the country which won 8 times the "happiest country in the world" , we thought it would be interesting to get some input from some Finns and people in general living here!

If any of you can please answer the survey on this link, it would be greatly appreciated! It takes no longer than 10 minutes, it brings us to some interesting self reflection and it might help bring up some very interesting results!

Please reach out if you have any questions and TIA!

  1. The question about socializing outside home, it could clarify if it also includes work or not.

I am forced to socialize at work, but I do not do that on my free time. Now I chose that I do socialize, but it does not reflect what I do voluntarily 😂

  2. So another “scientifical” survey where “researcher” is not telling any details about themselves, data handling, organization they are presenting and contact details to ask more question or deny using ones data in study (if person changes their mind after participating). Are universities (even open ones) really accepting this kind of work from students? What if they have to do actual research?
