I bought a top-tier 32 panel REC Alpha, 12kw system in 2023 for 22k fully installed after rebates. Prices will double if Trump has his way.
Btw, don’t go Sunpower unless paying 3 times more for 75% of the power generation is your cup of tea.
They wanted 67k for a 9kw system for 80% power offset.
Unfortunately so far nobody can predict the tariff war, but do far nothing significant has been implemented for solar panels. I think storage is having a bit harder of a time.
No, prices are falling and falling. No end in sight. Basically your solar deployment price now is less than 1/2 for the panels. Remainder is labor, and other stuff.
The tech will go lower. The labor will go up. So maybe a wash for the installation.
