I just learned of Swampy’s death and it’s so incredibly sad. I am proud to have met Swampy a number of times and helped him with gear for the invaluable work he did. He leaves a huge mark on all of the Ukrainians and so many lives he saved. Until Valhalla Swampy 🫡🫡🫡🇬🇧🇺🇦 .

  3. This is devastating. Swampy was a good friend of mine and treasured colleague. We traveled together in Ukraine and had upcoming plans to collaborate to support EOD training he was doing. I’m still in shock over it.

    Swampy is also one of the volunteers that PAV had matched directly with donors. It is tremendously sad for us to lose another volunteer we have supported. I don’t really have the words yet for it.

  35. Swampy worked with our unit for a couple of months in 2022, love the guy, so sad to see him go. He did so much good, and was a great person as far as I had the opportunity to get to know him.

  39. EOD is one of the most dangerous professions you can choose. It takes a truly special person to volunteer to do that for their own military, let a lone another countries, fighting against terror and pure evil.

    I hope he is able to inspire a whole generation of heroes to continue what he started.

  44. Appreciate all the kind words of support. This one hits hard. I get news almost every week that someone that was in it with me has been killed. At this rate I’m worried everyone I know out there will eventually get killed. Most importantly: fuck Russia and anyone who supports them.
