Sounds promising, better roads could really boost local travel and the economy in the region.
It feels like a long time since this work begun so glad so see it finished. Indeed i’m glad this got through before Drakeford and Waters suspended road building in general. With Ken there i hope we’ll see similar projects green lighted in the coming year, but 5-10 years from now there will be a gap in projects i expect.
I drove to Carmarthen on Thursday with the speed restrictions and odd routing in place, and drove back Sunday with the bypasses fully open. It was wonderful and made a difference of about 15 minutes.
It’s been done very well, it’s hard to see where the road diverges from where it used to go.
I’m vaguely uninformed here – why does the EU still fund our projects, even though we’re out of the UK.
It’s very cool and I support the EU, but why do they care?

Was it funded by the EU?
