(Edit: come on, are you all serious?! All i did was ask for “please no *groundless* speculation”! If information has been relesed, either in the meantime or if the articles i had read back when i first commented this were not up to date, then of course any discussion about it is not groundless speculation any more!)

Please, everyone, no groundless speculation here about the attacker, their race/ethnicity/nationality, their motives. (As of now,) We have no information about any of that, so all speculation would be futile, in the best of cases, and populist propaganda in the worst. Please let us not repeat what happened in the comment sections in the first hours after the attack in Würzburg earlier this year.
What happened is horrible. I hope all those injured will have a speedy recovery with no lasting injuries. Let’s leave it at that.
That is all we should care about right now. Not mindless speculation about the identity attacker or their motive.
