Industrial production in Hungary stagnated year-on-year in March 2025, following a 8.7% drop in the previous month, preliminary estimates showed.
Production volume decreased in the majority of the manufacturing subsectors, led by electrical equipment.
Meanwhile, output increased in the manufacture of vehicles, computers, electronic and optical products, and food, beverage and tobacco.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity rose by 0.1% in March, rebounding from a 1.1% drop in the preceding period.
