   In a startling development following India’s Operation Sindoor air strikes on terror outfit in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), unidentified missiles were discovered late Wednesday night in three villages of Punjab’s Amritsar – Dudhala, Jethuwal, and Pandher, sparking concern among local residents.

   Amritsar Rural Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Maninder Singh confirmed the discovery to Times Now, stating that the objects were identified as rockets. The Indian Army was immediately alerted, and a specialised team was dispatched to the sites. The missiles have since been taken into custody for detailed examination.

   “Our teams secured the areas and informed the Army. Their experts arrived promptly and confirmed the objects were missiles,” SSP Singh said.”No injury or loss of life occurred,” he added.
   Notably, missiles have been found amid reports of six loud explosions heard across Amritsar between 1:02 AM and 1:09 AM, raising speculation that the sounds may be connected to the missile-related incident. In response, authorities imposed an immediate blackout across the city during this period.
   While the Amritsar police initially attributed the noises to sonic booms, no official clarification has been issued regarding the origin of the missiles.

   Amritsar experienced two separate blackouts that night. The first occurred between 10:30 PM and 11:00 PM, followed by a second, more extensive blackout at 1:56 AM, which lasted for nearly two and a half hours. Power was fully restored by 4:30 AM.
