Paris Saint-Germain beats Arsenal to reach Champions League final against Inter Milan • FRANCE 24

Paris man getting the job done as uh they were expected to in a way considering how strong they’ve been uh this season so far and in the tournament in themselves. They came into this with the one goal advantage and we know that manager Luis Enrique was not going to be satisfied just with that one goal there. He was going to look for more and that’s exactly what they did. Fabian Ruiz getting that opener for them in the first half cooling things down. Um I have to say though Arsenal were definitely in the first moments of the game dominant in that the Paris were lucky really to to to not have conceded at least twice in the first early minutes there. Um great job once again from their goalkeeper Donnaruma who really really really has been uh such an important part of the uh of the squads uh in their games in the tournaments in general. fantastic saves uh denying Arsenal uh tonight. Saka of course did get a goal late on but before that it was Ashraf Hakeimi who managed for Paris Sanja the the defender to score another one after a there was there was a missed penalty also though for for Paris in that but in the end 2-1 tonight 3-1 on aggregates for an aggregate for Paris great job they were clearly unafraid in this let’s say just having to warm up a bit in the beginning not sure where every everything was going um but they’ve come yes and delivered they’ll be into their second ever final. The first one of course coming just a couple of years ago, 2020 it was against Bayern Munich. Didn’t go their way. They lost that one 1 nil. Uh but this time they won’t be facing Bayern Munich. They’ll be in Munich, yes, for the final, but they’ll be facing into Milan.

PSG weathered one attack after another and showed remarkable adaptability to hold off and defeat an inspired Arsenal 2-1 to reach the Champions League final on Wednesday.
